AIM Services Privacy Statement

This privacy statement describes the methods of processing personal data collected by AIM Services while running its business or through visitors to its various websites, including www.youdefinethevalue.com together with the related procedure. In addition, this Policy describes how AIM Services guaranteed the security of the Personal Data processed.

Although GDPR is an EU regulation, it is relevant to AIM Services for a number of reasons, including the following: Swiss data protection legislation is historically closely linked to European regulation, with changes to Swiss law being required. This area is strongly influenced by GDPR, moreover GDPR imposes high standards that have an extraterritorial scope (access to the market) for the protection of personal data. In other words, non-EU based companies are, in certain circumstances, bound by the provisions of this Regulation.

Collected Data

We always manage your personal data for a specific purpose and we only process the relevant personal data to achieve that purpose.

The data involved are personal information (e.g. name, address and other contact details, date and place of birth, nationality), identification data (e.g. data on the identity card) and authentication data (e.g. specimen signature).
In addition, it may also be data collected while performing our contractual obligations, information about your financial situation (e.g. solvency), marketing and sales data (e.g. events and contests organized by AIM), data contained in documents (e.g. session minutes), and other similar data.

Retention periods

Retention periods for personal information are regularly reviewed. We will retain your personal information on our systems for as long as necessary for the activity in question, or to the extent stipulated in any contract that you hold with us, or according to legal regulations in force.

Your Rights

The applicable data protection legislation gives you certain rights with regards to the use of your personal data. These rights apply only in certain cases, and are subject to a few exceptions.

You have the right to ask AiM to rectify inaccurate personal data (see paragraph « modifications of personal data ») that we collect and process and the right to request the limitation of your personal data until such a request is taken into consideration.

When we process your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Please note, however, that withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of consent-based treatment prior to withdrawal.

You have the right to ask AiM to stop processing your personal data or to delete your personal data – these rights are not absolute (as there may sometimes be higher interests that require further processing, eg legal requirements), however we will review your request and confirm the decision.

When we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, or when such processing is necessary to enter into or perform our obligations under a contract with you, you have the right, under the applicable laws on data protection to request that your personal data be transferred to you or to another controller. You also have the right to ask AiM for a copy of all or part of the personal data we collect and process about you.

In certain circumstances, AiM may process your personal data through an automated decision-making process, including profiling (this is particularly the case when processing applications and resumes). In certain circumstances, you may ask not to be subject to automated decision making, including profiling (GDPR Section 21 §1-3).

You may exercise the rights set forth above or request complete information on your rights and practice by using the contact information provided at the beginning of this Declaration.

Security

We have put in place appropriate technical, physical, and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to the personal data that you provide to us. Because complete data security cannot be guaranteed for email, instant messaging and other similar communications, we recommend that you send any particularly confidential information by other secure ways.

When we provide personal information to a third party (including our service providers) or use a third party to collect personal data on our behalf, the third party is carefully selected and is required to implement appropriate security measures.

Due to the nature of our business, personal information may be shared with entities based in other countries. When we make these transfers, we take the necessary steps to ensure that your personal data is properly protected and transferred in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Suppliers and Subcontractors

The contractual relationship with the subcontractor is governed by written contracts and the data protection provisions of this Declaration have been provided to this subcontractor. We regularly monitor the protection of your personal data. A transfer of these data to third parties by the subcontractor is excluded by contract.

If data is transmitted, recorded and processed in this context, it is done according to the operator’s instructions and as part of a GDPR-compliant mandate.
Servers used in a subcontracting context for exploitation are in Switzerland or on the territory of the EU.

Similarly, vis-à-vis our suppliers. Their GDPR compliance is regularly checked.

Modifications des données à caractère personnel

Nous nous engageons à garder vos données à caractère personnel exactes et à jour. Par conséquent, si vos données à caractère personnel changent, veuillez-nous en informer dès que possible.
